This illustraition preposes opening the legs.
As the stanchion may no longer rise straight into the figure, between it's legs, a new stantion w/"dogs leg" will have to be fabricated and will enter the figure off center beneath the lower buttox.
In order to facilitate the new stanchion's installation and perfectly maintain the attitude of the figure, a jig will have to be constructed to support the figure while effecting modifications, I.E: cutting a channel through one side of the buttox to the midle back, as deep as the center of the figure,
Once the new stanchion is in place, the channel must be filled with pour foam, shaped, resurfaced and painted.
